Supreme Court of the State of New York, County of Kings 

     John G. Hall was recently successful in Supreme Court, Kings County, New York, in establishing that the firm's client was entitled to payment in its mortgage foreclosure action on the basis of equitable subrogation, despite the Defendant claiming that Plaintiff's mortgage was usurious.

     John G. Hall recently recovered $792,918.00 from a Defendant which induced a client to release a portion of mortgaged premises from the mortgage lien based on its promise to provide substitute collateral for the mortgage.  When it failed to do so, the action was commenced.
